The Plate at No.6 restaurant is based in the heart of Windsor, Berkshire offering modern Mediterranean tapas cuisine. We are looking for a Sous Chef who would enhance further the culinary experience that the restaurant seeks to offer. The restaurant has around 28 covers inside with a further 12 outside and aims to provide a friendly professional service to its customers. The Sous Chef will be expected to have high standards in order to meet the fine dining levels required and to provide service which is second to none. The Sous Chef must also have good solid communications skills to liaise effectively and efficiently with the Front of House Team. The duties of the Sous Chef will be many including the following: To assist the Head Chef to manage the kitchen operations at the Plate at No 6 Restaurant. To assist in meeting key growth revenue targets with regard to expanding quality and the restaurant's customer base. To support the Head Chef in ensuring that the Plate at No 6 Restaurant maintains its 5 food hygiene rating. To mentor junior chefs and oversee any kitchen assistants/porter staff.
