About the Role: Our new home in Matlock, Derbyshire, is situated in a beautiful area renowned for its limestone scenery and historic charm. It benefits from excellent transport links, including a railway station with connections to Derby and Nottingham, and convenient access to major roads. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children, addressing safeguarding and child protection concerns promptly and effectively. Provide high-quality care that meets the physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and cultural needs of the children, creating a nurturing and supportive environment. Comply with the Children's Acts of 1989 and 2004, the Children's Homes Regulations 2015, and other relevant legislation. Lead, develop, and supervise a dedicated staff team, offering support and training to help them excel. Oversee and regularly update each child's care plan to reflect their evolving needs. Chair and participate in meetings and reviews as required. Support children in achieving their goals and reaching their full potential.
