Payroll Officer

We are currently working with a leading local employer based in Liverpool who is looking to appoint a Payroll Advisor on a 12-month FTC.This is a full-time role (35 hours) with a hybrid working pattern, and the salary banding is £29,091 to £31,998)Duties will include:Working as part of a team processing payroll for 4,000 employeesDealing with regulatory reports – P11d’s, P60’s, P45’s and pension reportsResponding to queries from the workforce on pay and pension issuesHandling the auto-pension enrollment process and ensuring complianceDealing with various 3rd party providers, as well as internal stakeholders and colleaguesConducting monthly analysis and reconciliation of pay, benefits and control accountsDealing with complaints and complex payroll queriesSupporting with the ongoing upgrading and testing of payroll systemsEnsuring all payroll data is recorded correctly and accuratelyExperience / skills required:Proven track record in dealing with large payrollsWorking knowledge of pensionsStrong numeracy and analytical skillsBenefits:Competitive pay & generous pension 28 days holidays plus bank holidays Flexible working options availablePlease note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
