HealthTech Startup Senior Software Engineer (Backend) Hybrid - 3 days in London, 2 days WfH Up to £105,000 + equity + full benefits About the business A specialist within the HealthTech space, our client is on a high-growth journey after a $20m+ Series B raise. They are focussing on digitising access to healthcare services and products, working on targeting people who are resistant or unable to going down traditional treatment routes. They have a range of diagnostic tools, services, treatments and blood test services to offer data-driven health solutions. About the role After a company acquisition, they are building out a new development team to work on integrating the services into the wider company ecosystem. There will be a focus on aligning the product operations, creating a large range of new product features and optimising the offering to ensure higher customer retention and increase access to the services As the Senior Software Engineer, you will join a team of 6 - 2 Backend Engineers, 2 Frontend Engineers, a Tech Lead and a Product Manager. You will: Using PHP to develop core functionality for systems and data platforms, and e-commerce capabilities using modern frameworks Develop extensible platforms and architectures that make it possible to quickly and efficiently launch new products Develop and maintain integrations with third party systems Develop the APIs powering the web & mobile platforms for our product portfolio Work end-end - from scoping & planning, architectural design decisions, implementation and testing, to production deployment and operations Tech Stack: PHP, Symfony / Laravel, AWS, JavaScript, React, Postgres, Playwright, Jest About you 5+ years experience in software engineering A BSc or above in Computer Science (or similar), or equivalent industry experience Able to work in a high-paced startup environment, with a significant amount of ownership and accountability Prior experience working with PHP preferred, but strong coding skills and a willingness to work in this stack will also be considered HealthTech Startup Senior Software Engineer Hybrid - 3 days in London, 2 days WfH Up to £105,000 + equity + full benefits
