Job DescriptionRole: Database Developer – ContractContract: 1 Year Contract. Payable in Euros Required: Military Level Security Clearance Location: International Travel Required with expensesClosing Date: 16th September 2024SummaryA high-profile client is looking for a Security Cleared Database Developer to support the delivery of technical services for an international IT consultancy. This will encompass the maintenance of HRDS applications, the development and maintenance of PowerShell scripts, develop SQL dataset queries, and support the data administration of applications and interfaces.The role is being offered as an on-site / off-site working pattern with a total of 7 weeks of the year based in their northern European office. Travel, food and accommodation expenses will be contributed to significantly by the company, and to be agreed in advance by both parties.The contract is 1-year, with a January start, and the possibility to extend a further 3 years. Previous experience working in the military is a necessity. Applications will not be considered otherwise.Responsibilities Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts with external applications and APIs to facilitate data exchange and process automation Develop and generate SQL database queries, functions, scripts and stored proceduresSupport the data administration of HRDS applications and interfacesDevelop and administer SSRS and Power BI reportsSupport the testing of applications’ changes in the development, testing and validation environmentsEnsure data management tasks run smoothlyRequirementsFluent English – written and oralA Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similarValid passport to facilitate international travel to northern Europe Security Clearance at military level – applications without this will not be consideredSkillset: SQL, API, Power BI, PowerShell, SSRS, Active Directory, SharePointApply Now!If you are a Database Developer, and you are looking to work alongside a high-profile client on a one-year contract basis then apply now.
