Section Engineer

Abatec is recruiting for a freelance Site Engineer to join a landmark, long term Civil Engineering project in Bridgwater. This is an opportunity to join an award-winning contractor that are delivering a £250m civil engineering project in the local region Our client can offer stable, continuous work until 2027/2028 Some understanding of RC structures would be useful as well as infrastructure and general civil engineering As Site Engineer you will: * Have experience of setting-out on heavy civil engineering schemes. * Use a robotic total station to provide levelling and surveying across the site. * Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations. * Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols to ensure any health and safety concerns are identified and reported as necessary. Our client requires a Site Engineer with: * Valid CSCS and experience of robotic total stations. * A good understating of construction health & safety protocols. * Excellent communication skills. * HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent * Understanding of AutoCAD Salary and benefits include: * £310 – £340 If you would like more information, or to apply for this vacancy, please contact Ben Knight on (phone number removed).
