The main purpose of this role is to create and implement communication plans & campaigns for workplacepension clients. These plans will help clients achieve their goals to improve member engagement – and help with LGIM’s business growth and retention objectives.The job holder will also participate in new business and retention pitches so a willingness to travel is essential.What you'll be doing:Managing and delivering highly effective workplace pension communication plans for a specified portfolio of prominent clients and new scheme implementationsWorking with the Workplace Member Communications team, maximising the impact and quality of multi-channel communications, supporting LGIM’s business growth and retention objectivesUsing client and member feedback, together with market knowledge to ensure the continuing evolution of client communication plans Attending external meetings with clients to demonstrate Legal & General’s communications capability and proposition. This will include participating in client meetings, client retention meetings, site visits and some new business pitchesMaintaining a good knowledge of L& G DC pensions proposition and processes. Keeping abreast of legislative developments and other market activity in order to be able to discuss relevant topics in an informed manner with clients and membersMaximising cost effectiveness and employer satisfaction by implementing best practice in all aspects of the development and delivery of communicationsEnsuring all activity undertaken in fulfilling the role considers the fair treatment of the end customerQualificationsWho we're looking for:Excellent communication/presentation skills – previous client-facing meeting and presentational experience within significant employers and intermediaries/partners is a requirement, as is the ability to articulate and convey information in a clear and compelling manner in writing and in personBroad understanding of different media, audiences and their needs for effective communicationsExperience and knowledge of DC product solutions and marketplaceProven track record of project and stakeholder management including deliveryCorporate client relationship management experience in a product provider, asset manager or EBC/significant intermediaryProfessional qualifications in relation to the role are desirable, for example marketing qualifications and technical pension qualificationsWhatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
