Senior Residential Support Worker - Childrens Care Home

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our expanding team at a 4-bed children's home (EBD). What You Will Be Rewarded With: * Up to £33,540 per annum including sleep-in allowance * £500 salary increase upon completion of probation * £500 salary increase per year for every 1 year of service after passing your probation * Voucher scheme for bank holiday & festive period working * Birthday rewards scheme including 8 hours off for your birthday * £200 refer a friend scheme * Employee recognition rewards scheme * Enhanced overtime allowance of 1.5 * 224 hours holiday allowance per year, with the opportunity to increase your allowance throughout your career * Genuine investment throughout every stage of your career, with the opportunity to complete relevant qualifications and professional development * Flexible working opportunities including part-time * Beautiful working environments with the very best facilities and amenities Our successful Senior Support Worker will need to possess the following skills and attributes: * NVQ Level 3 Children’s residential Or NVQ Level 3/4 Children, Young People & Family Practitioner (essential) * Experience in a children's home setting (essential) * Supervisory experience * Passion to help nurture young people * Be able to work shift patterns including sleep ins * Full, UK driving licence (essential) Key Responsibilities: * Working and supporting children and young people to create positive outcomes and promote independence * Supporting the daily running of the home and Senior Management decisions * Leading teams & Conducting Supervisions * Shift planning & Supporting team development * Direct practical interactions with children and young people including play, activities, cooking, personal care, engaging with the wider community, supporting educational and health needs * General house duties, maintenance & completing health and safety checks * Budgeting * Keyworking & Advocacy * Engage in planning, creating, updating and implementing care plans * Creating, updating and adhering to individual risk assessments * Working in partnership with other agencies * Report writing and attending reviews as required Shift Pattern: 2 days on shift, then 4 days off Salary up to £33,540 per year (inclusive of 7 sleeps per month, any additional sleeps are paid at £60 per sleep) We are an Equal Opportunities Employer Please note that you must be 21 years of age or above to apply due to children’s homes regulations.
