Roles and Responsibilities - Learning Mentor - Tower Hamlets
Assist students in their lessons and activities in a variety of ways
Promote positive behaviour among students and develop relationships with them
Work with students to create action plans and monitor their progress on a regular basis
Assist families with keeping records, preparing reports, and providing advice
Providing assistance to teachers, as well as other professionals such as social workers, education welfare officers, and educational psychologists, in the classroom
Actively listening to students' concerns and providing them with support
Assembling a plan for addressing these problems and discussing ways of doing so
Providing support, advice and guidance tailored to the individual needs of each studentThe school - Learning Mentor - Tower Hamlets
A four form entry secondary school situated in Tower Hamlets within walking distance of an underground station as well as onsite parking, the school holds over 600 students and 100 members of staff. It is an exciting opportunity for a Learning Mentor to join this large, modern school which will provide great support from a great staffing team in addition to a dedicated group of students who are eager to succeed.
