Reporting to the Lead Process Engineer, you will work under their guidance providing technical process safety expertise to actively support the promotion of, and engaging in, process and workplace SHE.
A key requirement of this role will involve collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, you will apply your process safety knowledge and leadership skills to help maintain safe and reliable operations and to facilitate the delivery of site objectives. It is expected that you will have a working knowledge of the relevant engineering codes and standards and can demonstrate their practical application.

Essentials:
Chemical / Process Engineering Degree
Minimum 5 years Process Engineer / Process Safety experience
Strong understanding of Process Safety and experience of undertaking and participating in safety studies (PSSR, Pressure Relief, Risk Assessments, Hazard Studies, LoPA, ALARP Demonstration, PUWER, DSEAR, etc.)
Able to provide monthly and quarterly updates on Process Safety KPIs
Experience of Management of Change systems and procedures
High degree of analytical and numeracy skills
Proficient in report writing, producing documentation and the development of procedures and training
Experience of supporting production / manufacturing operations
Experience of working within multi-discipline teams
Able to troubleshoot, problem solve, analyse data and suggest improvements
Able to specify process equipment and produce datasheets
Able to undertake project scoping, PFD/P&ID development, and design documentation
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work and communicate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
Desirables:
Relevant Masters Degree or Equivalent
Human Factors
Project management and planning skills / experience
