We are looking for an Estates Assistant to join a social housing provider on a contract basis with the potential of extension or to go permanent. In this role you will be carrying out a range of estates maintenance such as cleaning internal communal areas and keeping external areas maintained, providing a high quality of grounds and garden services.

We are looking for an Estates Assistant to join a social housing provider on a contract basis with the potential of extension or to go permanent. In this role you will be carrying out a range of estates maintenance such as cleaning internal communal areas and keeping external areas maintained, providing a high quality of grounds and garden services.
Main Responsibilities:
- In this role you will be covering the Hackney area of London where you will be utilising an iPad and work to orders/requests as scheduled including cleaning internal communal areas and keeping external areas well maintained
- Deliver grounds maintenance across a variety of sites & garden types, assisting in the removal of refuse
- This is a customer facing role where you will be interacting with residents so a high quality customer service is vital for the role
- Working with the wider teams and contractors, you will be responsible for reporting any responsive repairs to properties/grounds or raising issues such as fly-tipping, graffiti and safeguarding concerns
- Responsible for maintaining grounds including lawn, shrub and plant care
- Record customer feedback and suggestions, acting on minor changes and collating information to support decisions on service improvements
- Ensure company vehicles are kept in a clean condition, with regular maintenance and compliance
Job Requirements
- A full UK Driving Licence
- Similar experience in estates management/garden and communal area maintenance
- Knowledge of health & safety, risks, COSHH and PPE
