An exceptional opportunity has opened for a seasoned Account Director to join the MOI team. This dynamic role within our Client Services division is ideal for a driven and passionate marketer eager to collaborate with some of the world's leading B2B technology brands. The position demands excellent communication, strategic thinking, and a proven track record in developing and implementing integrated marketing programs, with a strong emphasis on digital marketing and demand planning for comprehensive campaigns.

In this role, you will lead an account team, providing strategic guidance, overseeing financial management, and managing day-to-day operations for a portfolio of key client accounts. You'll work closely with the Demand team to plan, execute, and optimize digital demand programs that drive measurable results. You'll ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of campaigns, maintaining the highest standards of quality and service throughout.

Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the main point of contact for senior-level client stakeholders, building and nurturing strong relationships based on trust and effective communication.
  • Understand clients' business objectives, marketing goals, and challenges to provide strategic recommendations and solutions, particularly in digital marketing and demand generation.
  • Regularly meet with clients to discuss campaign performance, present new ideas, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Organise client engagement opportunities, such as entertainment, workshops, debriefs, and presentations.
  • Responsible for overall client satisfaction; proactively addressing and solving issues.

Account Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor a team of account managers, coordinators, and specialists to ensure successful implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns, with a particular focus on digital demand programs.
  • Provide clear direction, feedback, and support to account team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, strategy, and media, to deliver integrated marketing solutions.
  • Support the Demand team in the strategic planning and execution of digital marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with client objectives and business goals.
  • Share industry insights and thought leadership with clients and internal teams to drive innovation and creative solutions.

Strategic Planning and Campaign Execution:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive, integrated marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, demand generation, ABM, content creation, and events.
  • Ensure the strategic development of client briefs, offering innovative solutions aligned with clients' business objectives.
  • Oversee and attend client WIPs (as appropriate) and set up regular client QBRs, delivering value and insights.
  • Oversee campaign budgets, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring they align with client expectations and program objectives.
  • Work with the Demand team to identify and execute strategies for digital demand programs that drive qualified leads and pipeline growth.
  • Maintain and report on project profitability, team utilisation, and customer insights.

Business Development:

  • Drive strategic growth plans for accounts, identifying new opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, particularly around digital demand solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business leads through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and outreach.
  • Participate in pitches and presentations, showcasing agency capabilities with a focus on digital marketing and demand generation expertise.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to clients, highlighting key metrics and recommendations for optimization, especially in digital channels.
  • Identify areas for improvement in digital demand programs and propose actionable solutions.

Industry Knowledge and Trends:

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing and demand generation.
  • Share insights with clients and internal teams to drive innovation and improve campaign performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (6+ years) in account management or a similar role within an agency or marketing firm (B2B marketing experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, demand generation, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact digital demand programs.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term partnerships.
  • Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns, particularly in digital marketing, and delivering measurable results.
  • Proficient in using marketing analytics tools to track and measure campaign performance and demand program success.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven ability to align marketing programs with business objectives.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of financial management, budgeting, and profitability.
  • Flexibility to travel and attend client meetings and industry events as required.
