Position: Engineering Stores Person / Store Keeper

Are you an experienced Engineering Stores Person / Store Keeper looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent role? Our client, based in Birkenhead, is seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain engineering stores, ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient stock control.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance in compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations.
• Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) safely and efficiently.
• Perform PAT Testing on electrical equipment.
• Replace brushes on grinders and other engineering tools.

Essential Requirements:

• Proven experience in an engineering background.
• Familiarity with LOLER and PUWER standards.
• Valid FLT license.
• PAT Testing certification.
• Hands-on experience in replacing brushes on grinders and similar equipment.

Compensation:

• Basic Pay: 15.71 per hour (PAYE only)
• Overtime 1: 1.5x basic pay
• Overtime 2: 2x basic pay
