Personal Tax Manager

Job DescriptionI am partnered with a leading Financial Institution on their search for a Personal Tax Manager. This is a newly created role due to growth, with huge potential for progression. You'll be reporting into the Tax Director and provide personal tax compliance and advisory services to your portfolio of clients. Responsibilities:Manage a portfolio of personal tax compliance.Support the Tax Director in providing UK income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, residence and domicile advice.Be able to recognise and advise on planning points for clients that may arise as a result of tax return reviews or other correspondence.Working successfully with the team to ensure that deadlines and client expectations are metSupporting personal tax filings, manage the financial and risk management of client work, and identify advisory opportunities and deliver advice.Support the wider team from a coaching, mentoring and learning perspective.Strong WIP management, including managing client expectations, recover-ability, proposing fees, invoicing and collecting cash on a timely basis.Strong risk management skills, including in relation to client acceptance and engagement.Keeps up-to-date with technical and market developments.You will be:CTA qualifiedProven track record of delivering personal tax compliance and advisory services.Experienced with working as part of a team on client relationships, projects and people management.Experienced with risk management, including in relation to client acceptance and engagement.Able to manage WIP, billing and debtors on client portfolio.If you'd like to find out more about the role, please apply with your CV so we can schedule a confidential call.
