Are you a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher looking for your next challenge? We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Coventry.
This full-time position involves full teaching responsibilities and is a wonderful opportunity to support and inspire young learners in their crucial first year of primary education.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 1 curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback and support to ensure all students achieve their full potential.
Take full responsibility for classroom management, marking, and attendance at staff meetings.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the learning and development of each child.
Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils in your care.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Proven UK teaching experience, ideally within KS1 or Year 1.
Strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and early years learning.
A commitment to creating a nurturing and dynamic learning environment.
An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
