Job Requirements / Description

We are looking for a new colleague for the BI Sales Representative position! Responsible for increasing the market penetration of business information products and achieve the sales targets yearly as set in the budget.

Be an individual hunter of new business and set up partnerships (agents/brokers/partners) to drive incremental growth in country.

Also build relationships and set up new product propositions and distributions channels. Be a brand ambassador by engaging the opinion leaders in the specified area.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned sales quotas.
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales.
  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct channels and indirect methods from networking.
  • Responsible for evaluating sales opportunities and business case presentation for new and existing clients.
  • Expand market penetration and grow the profits.
  • Develop strong pipeline of accounts and data validation on internal CRM tool.
  • Customer management: Drive high standards of customer service and satisfaction throughout all areas of the business.
  • Set up new distribution channels to grow the business.
  • Benchmarking: Responsible in data collection for regularly benchmarking product against source, data and competitors.
  • Industry compliance: Assurance of compliance with all regulatory requirements of areas of regulated businesses for which he/she is responsible.
  • Functional efficiency: Takes accountability for completing projects (for which he/she is responsible) on time and conforming to the standards set.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of key clients' needs and requirements and preparing customized solutions, accurate pricing & quotation process.
  • Understand customer requirements to develop the suitable solutions.
  • Executing derogation requests for key clients with approval from management.
  • Monitoring timely update of regulatory data like KYC, KYI and update them to back office for compliance completion.
  • Organizing pricing sheets, signed contract documents, customer details to back office for seamless new business set up.
  • Complete end-to-end new business process of customer and activate the account.
  • Work with the marketing and customer success teams on pre-sale and post-sale engagements.
  • Spearhead marketing initiatives for demand generation, brand awareness and customer engagement as per allocated budgets.
  • Coordinate the preparation of timely reports and analytics to regularly evaluate and review the plans and strategy.
  • Conduct market research and recommend improved strategies to improve market reach.
  • Identify potential clients to be targeted for future marketing activities, visiting potential clients to promote the service offerings and highlighting opportunities for partnerships.
  • Work with technical staff and product specialist where required to address customer's requirements.


ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:


  • Understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market, and the needs of assigned. Understands emerging market trends and interdependencies impacting customers; leverages understanding to expand relationships with customers.
  • Complexity is high (territory/account, products/services, sales management process). Requires developed sales expertise across a defined portfolio of /services/accounts; applies expertise in a complex sales environment.
  • Works independently or may lead teams to identify, pursue or manage accounts/opportunities with large size/strategic importance/risk of loss. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may serve as team lead and help develop colleagues' and customers' understanding. Has autonomy to set and negotiate product/service terms; plans own territory or account
  • Collaborates with team and has direct contact with clients and decision makers; participates in team sales for major accounts.
  • Leads the negotiations on medium-sized, complex accounts; plans own territory or account Works within broad guidelines and policies to develop business with new and existing customers
  • Beneficial to have certificate or degree in Finance / Data Management / Management or related disciplines.
  • Experience in Sales – Essential
  • Proficiency (written and spoken) in English.
