Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our special education teachers to support the academic and social development of students with a range of disabilities. Your duties may include providing one-on-one or small group support, implementing behavior plans, assisting with classroom activities, and helping students with their personal care needs. Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with disabilities Assist with implementing behavior plans and strategies Assist with classroom activities and instruction Help students with their personal care needs, such as toileting, feeding, and dressing Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers Attend meetings with parents, teachers, and other professionals to discuss students' needs and progressRequirements: High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience working with students with disabilities preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Knowledge of basic computer programs and software Ability to work flexible hours and manage multiple tasks Patience, compassion, and a willingness to learnIf you meet the qualifications and are passionate about working with students with disabilities, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.
