Summary of Role: As a Procurement Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, verifying, and ordering both stock and non-stock items. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the company secures the best prices and quality from suppliers while maintaining strong vendor relationships. The role also involves order processing, product evaluation, SKU management, and providing technical support to internal teams. Key Responsibilities: Purchasing: Source, verify, and procure stock and non-stock items. Negotiate pricing and evaluate suppliers to ensure the best deals. Product Management: Ensure all products meet quality and pricing standards. Monitor stock levels and manage product upgrade sheets. Order and SKU Processing: Process sales and purchase orders efficiently. Maintain accurate SKU lists, including descriptions and pricing. Technical Support: Provide pricing and technical advice on products to internal teams. Manage product returns and liaise with relevant departments to resolve issues. Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors. Monitor industry trends and supplier performance to anticipate market changes. Additional Tasks: Assist with staff purchases, account inquiries, and stock takes. Skills & Qualifications: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to analyse data and make informed projections. High attention to detail and accuracy in order processing. Technical knowledge of computer components. Proficiency in CRM systems, particularly OpenCRM for product creation and pricing updates.
