Job Title: Principal Engineer - Systems Engineering (Model Based Architect)Location: Coventry. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular roleSalary: Negotiable dependent on experienceWhat you'll be doing:Design and maintain requirements, architectures, and system designs for complex technical systemsGenerate SysML views to capture interactions between complex systems within the SubmarineSupport with the full utilisation and development of model-based systems engineering artifacts across a portfolio of productsExpand, elaborate, and own key system design elements and associated systems engineering products that drive customer successWork with cross-functional teams to define system functions, requirements and design elements to ensure optimal performance in constrained technical environmentsDecompose complex designs into understandable components for further elaboration and developmentSupport the execution of the full project lifecycle, from planning, through implementation, to operational readinessYour skills and experiences:Hold a Degree or equivalent within a STEM fieldHave a strong familiarisation of SysMLYou will need to have experience of using Model Based System Engineering toolsets such as Enterprise ArchitectHave a firm understanding of Systems Engineering and Systems thinkingFamiliarity with the Engineering System Lifecycle and its related process (specifically processes mentioned ISO/IEC 15288)Benefits:You'll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
