Welder/Technician - Paradigm Drilling Services

Paradigm Drilling Services are recruiting for a Welder/Technician to join their team, the key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Perform Welding in multiple directions: including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead, etc.Control the fitting, burning, and welding processes to prevent issues in relation to overheating, distortion, expansion or shrinking of parts.Inspect finished products and comparing them to samples to ensure compliance with quality and technical specifications.Prepare and set up all necessary tools and equipment for welding, including manual metal arc, shielded metal arc, gas metal arc, Oxygen/Acetylene welding or other welding applications.Organise and arrange welded parts systematically to facilitate smooth assembly into the final product.Follow instructions provided on work instructions, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and signed off upon completion.Execute tasks and complete documentation in accordance with relevant standing instructions and procedures, including customer specifications.Maintain strict compliance with quality control procedures and processes.Assemble/disassemble equipment and test according to procedure. Feedback any problems, ideas, solutions.General workshop duties and housekeeping.Overtime may be required to meet business critical projects. Undertake any other duties as may be reasonably expected in the interest of the business.This position will come with In House training but requires the below skills and experience:Minimum 5 years previous Welding experience.Understanding of ASME welding standards. Proficient in spray welding techniques.Skilled in the use of Oxy and Acetylene equipment.Carbide dressing and brazing experience.Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and TEAMS).
