Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial - Retail - Up to £130k salary

The company

S&H are exclusively partnering with a leading global retailer. The business is seeking a high quality commercial lawyer to join its in-house team in a key Senior Legal Counsel role, supporting the Group General Counsel. This is an exciting and varied position.

The role

A business facing in-house role at a top tier company, with a balance of business partnering and advising stakeholders on a variety of commercial matters. The role can be broken down as follows:

• Supporting on various commercial areas including marketing/IP, technology, facilities and other retail related areas.
• Contract negotiation and management in procurement or complex commercial transactions
• True business partnering with a variety of business units.
• Compliance areas such as consumer law, regulatory and data protection.
• Communications and corporate affairs.

About you

• Significant commercial legal experience with secondment or in-house experience essential.
• Strong academics
• Law firm trained
• Strong interpersonal skills
