Plant Operative

JR212: Plant Operative Location: Mortimer Salary: £30,823.72 Per Annum Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Plant Operative on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: Operate fixed and mobile plant as instructed by the Quarry Manager in a correct and safe manner. Carry out repair and maintenance work on fixed and mobile plant as instructed by the Quarry Manager. Ensure that all plant and machinery on site is operated and maintained in accordance with the Manufacturers' written instructions and the Company's prescribed schedules. Undertake on site and external training as requested. Carry out manual labour tasks as required. Undertake any other duty as may be reasonably assigned Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience using mobile plant including dumpers, loading shovel and 360° excavators in a similar environment and hold certified tickets. NVQ/QCF Level 2 (SPMO) (Desirable) Mechanical knowledge (Desirable) Previous experience working within a quarry environment (Desirable) 360 Excavator Ticket Location: Mortimer Salary: £30,823.72 Per Annum
