The Role: The purpose of the GMP Delivery Manager role is to ensure that GMP projects for a portfolio of pension scheme clients are delivered smoothly and to plan. You will work with the project team and client relationship teams to manage the inbound pipeline to support revenue targets, ensure staff are fully utilised and move projects or stages of work forwards or backwards accordingly. This will include project information reporting to senior leadership and client relationship teams. You will track and manage forward project progress for each scheme, working with the project team, third parties and other internal teams. This will include planning ahead, ensure smooth handoffs between teams, providing line of sight across teams and removing any bottlenecks. You will report to the project Head of Operations. This is a hybrid working position and can be aligned with any Aptia UK office. What you'll be doing: Pipeline and scheduling Working with senior management to understand targets and phasing. Schedule work to satisfy budgetary targets and to utilise capacity. Identifying any pre-requisites that might prevent commencement or delivery and taking action to remove barriers to delivery, working with stakeholders. Actively manage the schedule of work to manage peaks and troughs, and in response to issues arising or changes of plan for any schemes. Proactively look ahead and plan, anticipating delivery challenges. Ensure the project teams deliver work to agreed delivery dates. Promptly escalate issues with proposed solutions. Use, prepare, present, create and manage MI as necessary. Flag and propose recovery plans for identified over-runs, working with project teams. Performance Be accountable for your contribution to the service and delivery of the team. Be accountable for the standard and quality of own work. Work as part of the team to deliver great service, high quality work and build positive relationships. Proactively focus on business improvements, process refinement and streamlining. Be flexible and adaptable to work demands. Be proactive with your own development Financials Accurately record own time spent and spend time wisely. Weekly review of revenue vs budget and take appropriate action. Support with managing and monitoring each client to agreed budget. Flag and plan next steps for identified over-runs Client and colleagues Support client relationship managers with delivery queries. Identify complex clients and ensure appropriate additional planning and senior input as needed to ensure agreed plans are right first time and delivery issues flushed out and mitigated. Attend project meetings as necessary - internal and external. Build trusted and collaborative relationships with key teams and individuals.
