Due to our continued growth we are now recruiting for a Content Creator to be based at our customer site in Gaydon.




Job Purpose


In this diverse role you will have the ability to work across IO Digital & Innovation, developing creative content for key projects to help the business engage in this digital transformation.


The Content Creator & Copywriter is responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and delivering engaging digital and non-digital content tailored to the IO Digital & Innovation audience. This role involves collaborating with various teams to understand communication needs, producing high-quality multimedia content, and ensuring consistency with corporate Customer brand guidelines. The Content Creator & Copywriter plays a crucial role in enhancing internal communication, promoting employee engagement, adoption and driving alignment with Customer corporate objectives.



Key Accountabilities


  • Work on the design and creation of content (digital and non-digital) that improves engagement, learning and adoption initiatives to support the achievement of Customer’s internal digital deployments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather content requirements, align on messaging, and ensure accuracy and relevance of information.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital content creation. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in multimedia production.
  • Optimise content for various digital platforms, including the company intranet, email newsletters, and social media channels. Ensure content is visually appealing, engaging, and accessible to the target audience.
  • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and messaging across all internal communications. Ensure that corporate values and culture are reflected in all digital content.
  • Ensure timely delivery of content to meet communication deadlines.
  • Responsible for the design strategy and direction for all types of content within the Digital & Innovation team
  • Liaise with key stakeholder including SMEs, internal customers and managers to provide the best content solutions.
  • Support and sign off storyboard content ensuring that all content is fit for purpose.
  • Responsible for quality control including Corporate Identity compliance across the team.
  • Feedback to management on development status and suggest resolutions to issues.
  • Create and maintain a file management system.



Knowledge / Experience


Essential:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role in content development within a large organisation.
  • Competent in using digital platforms e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Canva, Vyond, Articulate 360, Piktochart or similar to create content.
  • Competent in MS software packages to create content. E.g. PowerPoint, Publisher
  • Experience of working with multiple stakeholders at all levels to design, build and deploy effective solutions which are cost effective.
  • Experience of Content Creation & Copywriting in appropriate format delivered to stakeholders at varying levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities.


Desirable:

  • Creating and developing both video and photo productions with advanced levels of proficiency in planning, filming and editing. Using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to enhance videos and deliver high production value.
  • Knowledge of internal communication best practices, employee engagement strategies, and content marketing principles is a plus.
  • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
