Machine Tool Application Engineer

Job Title: Machine Tool Application Engineer Salary: £37,000 - £44,000 DOE Benefits: Company Car & Overtime Job Type: Permanent Location: Coventry Job Start date: ASAP Shift Pattern: Days We’re currently supporting our client in Coventry, who is a leader in machine tool solutions for different markets. To cover their EDM range, they are now looking for a Machine Tool Application Engineer to represent the brand to the customer and demonstrate technical knowledge of the product. Responsibilities for Machine Tool Application Engineer: * Representing the EDM machine range (Makino machine tools), including wire, die-sink and hole drilling. * Working across both pre/post-sales, looking at proposing methods. * Completing test cuts and machine demonstrations. * Post sales delivery of turnkey packages * Customer training * Working between the show room (on site) / technology centre, and at customer sites. * Offline programming with VISI software. About you: * Experienced within a toolroom/manufacturing environment with EDM experience. Someone who would like to move into an application engineer role would be considered. * Happy to travel and collaborate with customers face to face. Travel will be within the UK and Ireland (occasionally further afield). * A passion for technology and machining – someone who wants to keep learning.
