Africa Travel Consultant. Experiential Travel Company are looking for a candidate, with a huge passion and extensive destination knowledge of Africa. You will join their friendly team of travel enthusiasts and specialise in their group tours and tailormade trips to Africa, inspiring clients, growing relationships with African suppliers and making lots of commission. Candidate Requirements: Passion for Africa and extensive knowledge obtained from personal travel experiences You value positive-impact, responsible and sustainable travel Open-minded and keen to learn Thrives solving problems and maintains calm under pressure Motivated and driven Excellent verbal and written communication skillsThe role: Guest communication via video call, email and telephone; building relationships and achieving a deep understanding and rapport with the client Curation of bespoke travel itineraries which aim to immerse the client in the destination while following responsible travel practices Competently close sales and manage pipeline, working effectively with the CRM and company systems and best practices Deal with any operational situations in collaboration with wider team and external partners at the destinations. Build long-lasting, caring relationships with suppliers on the ground at the destinations Travel to Africa! Basic Salary : £26,000 plus commission of between £5K and £15K Working Hours : Monday - Friday. 9am - 5.30pm. Hybrid role after 6 months: 3 days in the office 2 from home. London based.
