This school is well known for its level of care for both the students' educational and emotional wellbeing, shown through every member of the staff. This school needs a general Teaching Assistant to help with the running of class every day, assist with SAT practice and get the children ready throughout the year for the big jump to secondary school that This BS13 school is situated along a public bus route and has a car park on site. Your new roleYour new role in this year 6 class will mostly consist of monitoring the classroom when the teacher will be teaching, taking children out for extra Maths, English and Reading practice, ahead of their SATs and helping the teacher of your class with general everyday tasks. E.g. lesson planning and last year's activities. Also, assisting the students with their learning when they need help or something going over from the lesson. Part of this role will also be to emotionally support the children and look out for their welfare.
