Hays Education are working with a school in Sefton who are seeking an outstanding classroom practitioner to teach PE full time as a maternity cover across KS3 and KS4. This high school has already developed an excellent reputation within its community and is rated 'Outstanding' overall from their latest Ofsted inspection with above average attendance and very high-quality care, guidance and support. We work closely with this school to provide day to day staffing needs, long-term supply and permanent placements. Hays has become well-respected and a market leader in many areas through a constant focus on providing outstanding customer service to both teachers and schools. Your new role You will be supporting the PE department by teaching Female PE across KS3 and KS4 temporarily, around seventeen pupils per lesson, starting in November 2024. In order to be a teacher, you will need to have qualified teacher status or be looking to complete your induction year. You will also need to have recent experience within a classroom setting in the last five years and be up-to-date with recent curriculum changes. You will need to be a creative and positive teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst always demonstrating a professional manor. You will have strong classroom management skills with the ability to adapt to unfamiliar plans and timetables. It is imperative that you have good communication skills, as this is crucial when speaking to other members of staff and people in the school.
