Job Advertisement: Mechanical Maintenance Technician Location: Princess Royal Hospital, Farnborough Common, Orpington, Kent, BR6 8ND Start Date: ASAP (11th November 2024 preferred) Assignment Duration: 3 months (Temp to Perm) Pay Rate: £18-£20 per hour PAYE (Competent level), £25.03 per hour Umbrella (dependent on qualifications and experience) Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Princess Royal Hospital. This role involves a range of responsibilities focused on Air Handling Unit (AHU) servicing, reactive maintenance, and general day-to-day mechanical upkeep. Key Responsibilities: Conducting AHU servicing and reactive maintenance tasks Maintaining AHU systems and supporting mechanical engineers as needed Using BMS systems for operational support Performing pump, motor, and other essential maintenance tasks on mechanical systems Completing all required mechanical Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks Key Skills and Requirements: Qualifications: HVAC Competent Person, City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering, and domestic plumbing Certifications: Water competency certification (competent person) is required under HTM healthcare regulations DBS Requirement: Yes, candidates must hold a valid DBSThis role is ideally suited to a technician with relevant experience in hospital or healthcare settings.
