SC Cleared Platform Architect

I'm working with an SME with a growing presence in the Defence & National Security sectors, who are looking for an SC Cleared Platform Architect for an exciting long-term project.You will be advising and assuring the Platform design is conformant with vendor best practice, security enforcement, and Defence architectural patterns and guidance.Responsibilities:Act as the point of contact for platform architecture and threat mitigationSupport design vision creation, design decisions and design reviewLiaise with external stakeholders to ensure end-to-end designs are delivered across the wider Defence landscapeSupport the review of HLDs and LLDs for coherence and qualityAlign standards, frameworks and security with business and technology strategies and policiesSupport design of platform architecture elementsYou MUST have experience with:Architecture and development of secure Hardware & Software solutionsPlatform engineering - ideally a strong Platform Engineering backgroundWriting technical requirements and producing detailed solution architecturesDesigning and omplementing secure platform solutionsWorking within the UK Defence sectorMicrosoft Windows Server 2012Microsoft ExchangeVoice & Video Conferencign (Skype for Business, SIP with TLD federation)You MAY have experience with:Identity Access Management (IAM)UK Defence deployed network architecturesDatabase Services (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQLRelication & Backup technologiesStorage technologies The role is being offered for a 6-month initial period with long-term extensions likely.This will be on a hybrid basis in Corsham, requiring you on-site 1-2 days per month, and will be paying up to £650 / day Inside IR35Interviews are taking place next week, so please don't hesitate to apply now if you're interested!
