Mechanical Engineer/Technician - Multi Skilled Location: London / Greater London Salary: Highly Competitive Rate (DOE) Standard Hours: 42.5h, from 7:30 – 16:00 Monday to Friday Employment: Permanent, full-time Years of relevant experience: 3+ years of strong experience The Role Overview: Our client EPPH is hiring Multi-skilled Mechanical Engineer / Technician. The position will report to the Mechanical Engineering Operations Manager. You must be commercially trained in a mechanically bias discipline and have experience with working on various building services plants (inclusive of installation). Key Responsibilities: * Building services installation and maintenance * Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs to building services installations * Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics * Be able to read, understand and work from written and verbal instruction * Able to have a problem-solving approach, trouble shoot a job no matter its difficulties * Very good communicator and team player * To record work information as required for operation * Working closely with Contract and Project teams * Maintain vehicle condition and adhere to their procedures and health and safety * Adaptable to meet EPPH and client requirements. The successful candidate will be required to participate in the on-call rota for reactive breakdowns Additional skills and experience: * Minimum of 3+ years’ proven experience within the mechanical industry * Full clean manual UK driving licence * Ability to pass BPSS and Enhanced DBS checks * Knowledge of products related to mechanical, electrical, construction trades, equipment use, maintenance, repair, install and operation * Knowledge of suppliers associated with the supply of materials and equipment * Knowledge of the repair and maintenance including functional elements of building services systems * Trained in a mechanical discipline to a Level 3 or above * Current commercial Gas qualifications * Plumbing & Heating NVQ Level 3 qualification * They will support your further training courses as required * Must be willing to commute and stay away when required (with notice) Package: * Overtime * Continuous ongoing training and progression opportunities * Company van * Holidays 22 days + bank holidays + long service leave benefit * Company Pension Scheme * Company Bonus Scheme * Private Health Insurance * Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and 24/7 online GP service available to you and your family As a growing Company, they’re excited by the possibilities ahead, are you up for the challenge?
