What we are looking for:Farnborough Airport Limited is looking to recruit a HSE Standards & Procedures Manager to support the Assurance and Compliance Department on compliance and non-financial risk management related matters across the Company. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert and will lead on performing internal compliance audits and supporting colleagues to implement corrective actions for non-conformities. About the role: Key responsibilities include:Line Manager responsibility for the Compliance Administrator.Management of ISO 45001:2018 & 14001:2015 certifications to ensure conformance with the standards.Responsible for the management of OHS of non-aviation related activities.Be the subject matter expert on internal compliance matters, responding to and supporting the team in answering compliance related inquiries. Develop plans and schedules for internal and external audits, proactively identifying potential compliance risks and process improvements. Lead on executing the internal compliance audits across the Airport and facilitate external compliance audits when required.Provide regular updates on compliance related matters both verbally and via presentations for use in Leadership and Board Meetings including:detailed analysis of compliance data to enable development of business compliance & strategies.progress status updates, including changes and challenges to procedures.Engage in and lead continuous improvement to reduce risks and improve business compliance.Develop and maintain Compliance related policies and procedures.Pro-actively educate employees on regulatory / compliance procedures and policies.Collaborate and build relationships with Stakeholders across the Company to:enable effective and open communication channels. develop accurate workflows. support and provide guidance on change and project management.Stay up to date with regulatory changes and actively share knowledge with colleagues.Support the Head of Group Assurance & Risk with specific projects on request and compliance-related matters across the company.Consistently demonstrate and encourage others to adhere to the company values of Proud, Passionate, Ambition and Together in your day-to-day role. Demonstrate engagement with and adherence to the Company’s policies, procedures, guidelines, and reporting channels to ensure all work is carried out safely and to the highest standards, including but not limited to:Safety, Compliance and Environmental standards/legislation.The identification and management of occupational risks factors (such as workload/time management, clear communications and working methods) that may affect an employees’ psychological response to their work and workplace conditions.Appropriate Workplace Behaviour, UK Modern Slavery and General Data Protection & Retention (GDPR) Policies.Support the team with adhoc activities/tasks as reasonably requested. About you: Skills, Qualifications and ExperienceEssentialAuditor or Lead Auditor qualification (with working Auditing experience).Working knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 14001:2015.Team leadership and/or Line Management experience including coaching, mentoring and development.Investigation skills with the aptitude to identify potential compliance deviations.Ability to exhibit the highest standards of integrity and maintain confidentiality.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.Detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritise, working with a sense of urgency and diligence.Self-motivated with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.DesirableOperational Risk Management qualifications.Knowledge of Data Protection Act 2018.Leadership training.What we can offer you:Competitive salary.25 days holiday per annum (pro-rata), plus statutory public holidays.
