Are you an experienced Principal Engineer with a passion for delivering exceptional design services in the Highways sector? Ringway is seeking a dynamic professional to join our Projects & Capital Delivery Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of end-to-end design services, including forward programming, ECI, feasibility, detailed design, pricing, procurement, and technical support throughout mobilisation and construction.
  • To develop, implement & monitor processes and procedures that achieve client and business key performance indicators.
  • Achieve annual financial targets and drive efficiencies to reduce costs for both Ringway and our clients.
  • Maintain strong shareholder relationships through the successful delivery of Client Projects and Work Streams.
  • Promote and enforce safe working practices in alignment with Ringway’s Health & Safety Policy, with a commitment to zero incidents.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring trust, integrity, and satisfaction.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to corporate processes.


What We're Looking For:

  • Chartered Engineer in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a senior management position within a TMC or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges and NEC3 form of contract.
  • Expertise in highway works, maintenance, and health & safety legislation.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
  • A track record of innovation, best practices, and delivering value-added services.
