Delivery Driver

Job Title: Delivery Driver

Location: Peterborough

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5 but flexibility required

Salary: £25K - £27K

Key Responsibilities of the Delivery Driver:

• Route planning to ensure the most efficient delivery of our products across the UK in our fleet of vans
• Time planning to ensure any delivery restrictions are met and that the goods are delivered as required
• Having a personable and positive outlook to ensure problems are overcome to the clients satisfaction
• Building relationships with each repeat client to ensure a consistency of service is delivered across sites
• Undertake detailed lighting surveys (training will be given) to ensure our design team can provide effective LED replacement lighting schemes
• Carry out light focusing services at each store to ensure each brand consistency of lighting schemes (training will be given)
• Be responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of a company van
• Participate in the companies initiatives to reduce environmental impact
• Participate in the companies commitment to volunteer with charity organisations
• Contribute ideas for social and environmental initiatives
• Take an active role in employee engagement to assist in delivering continual improvements to staff morale and working conditions

Qualifications and Skills of the Delivery Driver:

• A self-starter who is self-motivated and driven, with a passion to deliver great customer service
• Full clean UK driving license
• Ability to travel across the UK (our office is Peterborough based but this is a UK-wide role)
• Ability to be organised and to plan and structure a day
• Thrives under pressure and is a logical thinker
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Good IT and writing skills with attention to detail
• An excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport with ease
