Job Advertisement: Multi-Trade Operative (MTO) - South West London and North West London

Position: Multi-Trade Operative (Damp & Mould Repairs)
Location: Covering properties in south west London and north west london and surrounding areas
Rate of Pay: 22.49 per hour (umbrella)
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Full-time, starting at 08:00

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative (MTO) to join our responsive repairs team, specifically to handle damp and mould issues in residential properties. This role includes access to a company van, fuel card, and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete responsive repairs related to damp and mould.
• Specify and order specialist materials as needed, minimising wastage.
• Use PDA/job tickets accurately and in real-time for job tracking.
• Ensure all paperwork, including goods received notes, standby log sheets, and vehicle reports, are completed and returned promptly.
• Communicate with Managers regarding ticket status, required follow-ups, and changes.
• Generate written reports for Area Managers and resolve queries efficiently.
• Maintain and care for all tools and equipment, reporting any issues to your supervisor.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and company policies, carrying out risk assessments as required.
• Achieve recognition under the CSCS Scheme.
• Wear corporate work wear to represent Response positively and meet tenant appointments punctually.
• Complete work to high standards on the first attempt wherever possible and inspect work quality before leaving the customer site.
• Provide supervision and support to apprentices if assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be based in or able to commute to Borehamwood and surrounding areas by 08:00 daily.
• Ability to deliver quality work independently within specific trades.
• Positive, professional attitude and flexibility to meet workload demands.
