Marine Insurance 2-4 PQE London
Our client is a leading international law firm renowned for its expertise in insurance litigation.
Their specialist Marine casualty team assists multi-national shipping clients including: Shipowners; Charterers; Protection & Indemnity (P&I) clubs and their insurers and reinsurers in relation to their global exposure to claims for: Hull and Machinery (H&M); increased value; loss of hire; cargo; mortgagee's interest (MI); war; charterers' liability; ports and terminals; and general liability.
Due to a departure to an in-house client, this high quality, specialist team are now looking to hire a mid-level Associate.
In order to be considered for this role you will have: Strong academics, intellectual rigour and strong technical and research skills; Trained at a rated City or regional firm, most likely one with a good reputation for Marine insurance disputes work; Most likely 2-4-years’ post-qualification experience in Marine insurance litigation; The ability to adopt a proactive approach and take initiative; Strong written and verbal communication skills; and Proven ability to manage a busy, complex case load.
Common law-qualified lawyers with relevant experience would be very welcome; the firm is able and willing to sponsor if required.
