Lunchtime Supervisor – Sutton Coldfield Start Date: October Part Time: 5 days per week Pay Rate: £12-£13 per hour, depending on experience TeacherActive is excited to work with a mainstream primary school in Sutton Coldfield to find a dedicated Lunchtime Supervisor. Role Overview: As a Lunchtime Supervisor at this school, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that lunch periods are safe, enjoyable, and well-organized for students. You will supervise children during lunchtime, ensuring they follow school rules and have a positive social experience. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the school staff to support the children and maintain a pleasant lunchtime environment. Responsibilities: Supervise and support students during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and wellbeing. Encourage positive social interactions and resolve any disputes or issues that arise. Ensure that students adhere to school rules and promote good behaviour. Provide assistance to students with special needs if required. Communicate effectively with school staff to report any concerns or incidents. Candidate Requirements: Experience working with children in a supervisory or support role is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with children in a positive and supportive manner. Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively.
