Senior Scheduler

Job Overview:The Senior Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for managing project schedules across multiple projects within the group. The role requires coordination with various teams and departments to ensure timely project delivery, with a strong emphasis on risk mitigation, change management, and preparing extension of time claims when necessary. This position will play a key role in driving project success through effective planning, monitoring, and control.Main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Manage and develop detailed schedules for multiple projects across the group, ensuring that all phases are accounted for. Create and update baseline schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or other scheduling tools.Efficiently plan and allocate resources across multiple projects, ensuring optimal utilization of resource to avoid conflicts between concurrent projects.Identify and manage the critical path for each project, ensuring key deliverables, milestones, and deadlines are met. Regularly review and update schedules to reflect actual progress and adjust forecasts.Track and monitor progress on multiple projects, ensuring that any delays or issues are identified and addressed promptly. Prepare regular progress reports and dashboards to update stakeholders across the group.Identify potential risks and delays across multiple projects, providing proactive solutions to mitigate schedule impacts. Work with project teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and optimize timelines.Incorporate changes to project scopes, timelines, or resources into the schedules for multiple projects, ensuring that changes are reflected accurately and communicated to all stakeholders.Collaborate with project managers, project leads and head of departments across the Group to ensure alignment and effective communication regarding project schedules and milestones.Apply earned value analysis to track performance on multiple projects, providing insight into cost and schedule variances. Assist project teams in making data-driven decisions for improved outcomes.Continuously review and refine schedules across projects, identifying opportunities to optimize timelines and resource utilization. Implement best practices in scheduling and planning across the Group.Prepare and submit extension of time claims for projects impacted by unforeseen delays or changes. Ensure all documentation supporting EOT claims is accurate and in line with contractual requirements. Collaborate with project managers and legal teams to ensure timely submission and approval.Work closely with other departments across the group to ensure that schedules are aligned with overall company objectives. Act as the main point of contact for planning and scheduling coordination across multiple projects in the Group.Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with experience managing multiple concurrent projects.Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.G., PMI, PRINCE2).Knowledge of critical path method (CPM) scheduling, resource loading, and leveling.Experience in multi-project scheduling across large-scale projects.Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage multiple stakeholders.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities effectively.
