Commercial Site Manager

Position: Commercial Site Manager Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Location: Cambridge Start Date: tbc Sector: Commercial Strip & Fit-Out Salary/Rate: £270-£285 per day Eleven:11 Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial fit out company. This company prides itself on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Site Manager to oversee a 16-week contract involving the strip-out and fit-out of a site. Role & Responsibilities: As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading the on-site operations of the project, ensuring that the works are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. Your key duties will include: • Site supervision and management of all trades and subcontractors. • Overseeing the strip-out and full fit-out of the commercial unit. • Ensuring the project is delivered on time and within the allocated budget. • Coordinating daily site activities, including quality control and health & safety compliance. • Managing and reporting on progress to senior management. • Maintaining a high level of communication between all stakeholders (clients, contractors, suppliers). • Problem-solving and addressing any issues that arise during the project lifecycle. Key Requirements: • Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects. • Strong knowledge of retail fit-out processes, including strip-out, installations, and finishes. • Exceptional organisational and leadership skills. • Ability to manage and motivate on-site teams effectively. • Thorough understanding of construction health & safety regulations. • Ability to work within tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results. • CSCS Card and SMSTS Certification are mandatory. • First Aid at Work qualification. • IT literate with experience in project reporting.
