Parcel Delivery Driver

Parcelforce are looking for experienced Parcel Delivery Drivers on a temporary ongoing basis to distribute parcels in the Birmingham area. You will be based at the delivery site in Central Birmingham. Role details: - Monday to Friday only - £14.04 per hour - Your choice of weekly or monthly pay This is your opportunity to have a real impact, in the heart of your community, while working for one of the UK's most well-known courier brands. Due to a high volume of response to this role, we will only consider CVs with parcel delivery/van driving experience. Parcelforce courier parcels every day to people throughout the country and are relied on by communities across the UK. We are now looking Parcel workers to be a part of this world-class service, supporting a very busy period. You will be responsible for delivering parcels quickly and efficiently in a van, going out on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service. Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office. Working as Parcel worker you will receive £14.04 per hour. The role is working 5 out of 7 days (Monday - Friday) with weekend rest. As a Parcel worker, you will need the following: - Full UK Manual Driving licence, with no more than six points. - MINIMUM 6 months of van driving experience. - Excellent customer service skills. - Upbeat and self-motivated. - Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather. - Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role. - Excellent organisational skills. - Resilience and flexibility.
