Senior Database Developer


Does programming robots that pack orders for one of the UK’s largest medical equipment providers sound like your sort of thing? Then I may just have the opportunity for you, that’s just one of the exciting projects this business is currently undertaking. They’re also rebuilding a key finance system and extending their massive warehouse even further to allow them to scale their operations.


Spectrum IT has partnered with a leading provider of medical equipment in the UK. As a small family-owned business that’s been operating for 50+ years they’ve grown to be a key supplier to the UK’s medical industry their E-Commerce platform is a crucial part of the business.


Key Skills:

  • Microsoft SQL – including complex queries and stored procedures and building tables.
  • Strong database management skills
  • C#.NET Core, MVC & Object Orientated programming
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Git for version control
  • RabbitMQ message broker
  • HTML5 (HTML5, JavaScript & CSS)


Beneficial Skills:

  • Medical or healthcare industry experience
  • Experience working in a small company or engineering team environment
