Who we are:

At D&D London we are passionate about all things food and drink. We strive to deliver quality in everything we do, each time we do it. With over 30 diverse venues across 6 cities including London, New York and Paris - there is a restaurant for every occasion. Each of our sites pride themselves on the unique designs, the freshest produce and the most exclusive settings. Founded in 2006 by David Loewi, the mission has always been the same, to provide each and every guest with a luxury experience when stepping foot into our restaurants, bars and hotel. Through the years we have paved the way in the luxury dining scene, acquiring some of the most iconic venues in London and beyond, venues such as Bluebird Chelsea, 100 Wardour St, Quaglino’s, 20 Stories, Orelle and South Place Hotel.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a London based, ambitious Head of Sales to support the Sales Director in delivering revenue and sales targets across our diverse portfolio of venues. With a competitive and challenging market, we need a proactive and ambitious sales professional who will play a key role in growing proactive and reactive sales efforts. This role is crucial for driving revenue, improving individual venues sales and working closely with marketing to target key markets, increase footfall and elevate the private dining and events across our group.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop and implement effective sales strategies that will drive revenue and achieve sales targets across all venues.

• Drive both proactive and reactive sales approaches to capitalise on new business opportunities and optimise existing client relationships.

• Identify areas of opportunity within the group, especially in underperforming venues, and implement targeted sales initiatives to boost performance.

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, with a focus on corporate clients, large-scale events, and high-value private dining experiences.

• Lead and manage the private dining and events sales strategy across all sites, focusing on driving high-value bookings and maximising revenue.

• Collaborate closely with restaurant management teams to ensure seamless execution of large events, offering a world-class dining experience tailored to client needs.

• Work hand-in-hand with the marketing team to create and execute targeted campaigns aimed at specific customer segments and markets.

• Align sales strategies with ongoing marketing initiatives, ensuring a consistent message across all customer touchpoints, from promotions to customer retention programs.

• Provide insights and recommendations to the marketing team on where to focus efforts based on sales data and trends.

• Provide detailed reporting on sales performance, including KPIs, revenue targets, and event bookings, to the Sales Director and senior leadership.

• Use data-driven insights to adjust sales tactics and improve overall performance.

• Mentor and lead junior sales staff, providing guidance on proactive sales techniques, client management, and event booking.

• Foster a culture of high performance and accountability within the sales team, ensuring everyone is aligned with the broader company goals.

• Set clear objectives and performance targets for the team, driving results in a competitive environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior sales role, ideally within the luxury hospitality or restaurant industry.

• Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of sales dynamics, especially in relation to high-end dining and private events.

• A track record of successfully driving revenue growth and improving the performance of underperforming venues.

• Experience working in a competitive market with the ability to implement aggressive sales strategies.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.

• Collaborative mindset, with experience working alongside marketing teams to drive sales growth.

• Analytical and results-focused, with proficiency in using sales data to inform decisions.

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.

If you are a motivated and results-oriented sales leader with a passion for the luxury dining

experience, and you thrive in a competitive market, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
