Maintenance Engineer

Position: Maintenance Engineer (Days/Evenings) Location: County Armagh Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum Exciting Opportunity: Maintenance Engineer (Days/Evenings) in County Armagh! About Our Client: Our client, a reputable company based in County Armagh, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This role involves maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment during day and evening shifts to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery and equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability. Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Collaborate with production teams to support operational goals and ensure minimal disruption during shifts. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation of all activities. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the team. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform corrective actions during day and evening shifts. Qualifications and Skills: Trade certification or relevant qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently under pressure. Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
