ROLE OVERVIEW // We are recruiting a Senior Digital Marketing Manager who will work with the Head of Marketing to deliver the firm’s marketing strategy. In this role, the successful candidate will manage the digital marketing team and work closely with the Global Client Development team, Communications team, Design team, Production team, lawyers and other business services teams to drive forward the firm’s marketing strategy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES // The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will work with the Head of Marketing to deliver the firm’s marketing strategy. The successful candidate will work with people across the firm, from lawyers to business services professionals, requiring versatility and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and relationships at one time. You may be required on occasion to work outside our normal working hours of 9:30am to 5:30pm. Key responsibilities of this role will include some or all of the following: People manage the digital marketing team, being a role model and actively contributing to a culture that is team-oriented, high performing and fun. Lead the team on the production of content and communications engagement reports for campaigns, single thought pieces, events, and quarterly/annual analysis, amongst others. Lead on and execute marketing plans for at least one of the firm’s growth areas. Oversee and guide the digital marketing team on the execution of campaigns and marketing plans to the highest standards. Optimise the performance of all our marketing channels including website, social media, podcast, email marketing, amongst others. Optimise the use of Dynamics, scoping and rolling out effective processes for different use cases. Work with the Head of Marketing and the Head of Business Development to update and implement the CRM strategy. Support and work with the Head of Marketing on major development and transformational digital projects. Evaluate emerging trends and technologies and generate ideas to improve our digital communications practices. Managing and evaluating our relationships with external agencies and vendors in this area. Working closely with the technology department to support and develop the firms use of technology in its marketing plans. Tracking spend against budget for the digital marketing function. Monitoring and coordinating the content distribution pipeline with the Content team to avoid clashes. CANDIDATE PROFILE // Candidates for this position must have: Proven track record of devising and executing multichannel campaigns and marketing plans. Ability to manage, analyse and visualise large amounts of data, and identify trends to create narratives. Proven track record of managing and optimising CRM systems. Proven ability to lead and inspire a team to operate with the highest standards. Understanding of the client journey in the legal sector. Proactive approach to defining needs and delivering solutions. Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, confidence to develop strong working relationships with lawyers and members of the Commercial team. Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables within a tight timeframe and deliver high quality work. Ability to be proactive, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, spoken and presentational). Ability to build strong business relationships with internal and external clients and the resilience to deal with demanding individuals. Willingness to foster an inclusive team culture. High level of professionalism and integrity; displays the highest standard of professional ethics.
