This is a really exciting opportunity for a GERMAN Sales Account Manager with a SaaS background to join a fast-growth technology business that has just had a cash injection of $25 million in order to scale up quickly ( but responsibly ) in the UK and Europe. It’s a new role and as such it’s a unique moment to join a business where the opportunities are wide open !. You will join a SaaS sector where the growth potential is huge and there are leads a-plenty and an identifiable “ client need” for this product. The company will offer you stock options and has plans for global domination in its field and a proven successful track record that supports this huge ambitious growth plan. TITLE: GERMAN : New Business Sales Account Manager ( SaaS) Salary : to base of £70,000-85,000 + Double OTE ( £140k-£160k potential earnings are basically uncapped+ stock options ) Location: London Work style: 3-4 days in the office 1-2 day wfh. You will join a sector where the growth potential has been recognised as huge and you will also be joining at a strategically important moment at the very start of this company’s journey in the UK. There are leads a-plenty, a caring culture (which is frankly unusual in a technology business!), a well-balanced work/life culture and most importantly there is strong earnings potential as the company and its investors have recognised an identifiable “ client need” for this particular SaaS product Potted history of the company Set up by two very high profile serial entrepreneurs with an amazing track record in building businesses with average values of between £200m- £400m and a network of high level Venture Capitalists who help support their businesses . To be successful in this role, you need to have worked in Saas before , have a B2B background , plenty of experience in closing deals and have the drive and energy to join a team where there is genuine opportunity to make real money not just in terms of commissions, but also as they offer stock options . There are 200 staff globally of which there are 100 in London ( the rest are in New York, Czech Republic and in Sydney ) . The company currently has just 3- clients in the Dach region and is looking to grow this side of the business , quickly . Duties Working to sell two cost optimisation platforms that look after cloud spend and Saas spend You will be selling and demonstrating new platforms to clients who are looking to reduce their tech spend . The company will also support clients purchasing teams and will go to technology vendors to re-negotiate contracts with the aim of saving at least 30% on tech costs This is a 100% new business role targeting the DACH regionWork closely with a BDM who will pass you leadsOutbound courtesy calling you will independently source, manage and close deals with other leading technology companiesUse of the inhouse CRM to accurately forecast revenue opportunitiesWork to mutually agreed quarterly/annual targetsEngage with leads and prospects in person and over ZoomAttend networking eventsWork closely with marketing team to help drive new businessAverage deal size: £40,000 p/a with SME companies Average deal size for Mid-level business: £80k p/a Average deal size for Enterprise business : £150k-£1m p/a Average Sales Cycle 3 months Requirements:Native standard German and fluent EnglishExperience selling SaaS products is essential You must have a solid ( demonstrable ) background in closing sales
