Forklift Driver

Net Temps Limited is working with a leading worktop manufacturer looking for a skilled counterbalance Forklift Driver to work in a fast-paced factory environment on a temporary ongoing basis. Rate: £12.50 per hour plus holiday pay Shift times Monday to Thursday 07:00am-16:00pm Friday 07:00am-14:00pm (must be committed to working extra hours when required) Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required) B1 Licence (requiredJob responsibilities will include: Working efficiently. Safely operate a forklift to move materials such as woodchip board, laminate and finished products in and around the factory - up to 5 metres in length. Load and unload lorries, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items. Transport materials to designated areas to keep production running. Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift and report any issues or malfunctions. Following job specifications. Heavy lifting. Abiding by health and safety policies. Following quality standards set. Following safe methods of work and ensure compliance with general housekeeping and safe systems of work.Key Skills: Working with deadlines. Attention to detail. Able to read paperwork. Working with manufacturing standards. Able to make efficient decisions. Able to work in a busy fast paced environment. Health and safety compliant. Punctual.
