PRINCIPAL DEVOPS ENGINEER - up to £95,000 Search 5.0 is proud to be partnering with a world-class payments company for Principal DevOps Engineer to join their journey. You will help to implement and optimise end-to-end CI/CD capabilities for their expanding on-prem and multi-cloud operations. You should be an expert in CI/ CD They are known for growing amazing teams that get access to cutting-edge technologies and industry-leading products. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW You will join a growing team headed by an incredible Director of DevOps who provides autonomy, support, and also direction. You will thrive in this bar-raising environment. Responsibilities Establish, scale, lead, and mentor team members. Provide DevOps tools and CI/CD expertise to software development teams. Build reusable CI/CD pipeline models with quality gates and security. Drive process automation, integrating compliance and quality gates. Lead technical discussions on best practices. Promote fully automated build and release processes. Guide program teams in adopting DevOps principles and toolchains. Support large-scale production deployments on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience Extensive experience in designing and implementing CI/CD solutions and DevOps-related practices. Experience with version control systems Extensive experience with build and release processes and tools Terraform for creating IaC and Ansible for creating CaC Strong expertise in cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Excellent problem-solving skills across platform and application domains.
