Cloud Database Engineer / Azure Database Engineer / Cloud Database Administrator / Cloud DBA / Azure Database Administrator / Cloud Data Platform Engineer Full Remote working from any cities in the UK.Our client is a well-known US fashion brand with over 20,000 employees and 3000+ stores globally. They have established enterprise cloud, datacentre, infrastructure and database teams across North America, Mexico and India and are looking to grow their technology team in Europe.You will be their first Cloud Database Engineer for EMEA and likely to lead a small team in the near future.-Lead technical discussion on data migration from on premise to Azure public cloud-Managing database environments in Azure-Using SQL and scripting for database automation and maintenance-Database security and data protection-Database backup, recovery strategies and disaster recovery procedures-Performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting database performance issues-Design and deploy cloud database technology solutions in Azure-Develop Infrastructure as Code using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, TerraformRequirements:-1+ year experience in managing database in Azure OR experience using two or more of the following toolsets: Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, XL Release, Artifactory, GitHub, Continuum, PowerShell-3+ years experience managing database (SQL DB OR Oracle DB)-Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages for database automation and maintenance-Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting database performance issues-Willing to take on call responsibilitiesPermanent role, full remote working, offer up to £50k base plus 10% bonus, private healthcare and other benefits.
