Overview
Corker Binning is a leading boutique law firm, based in Central London, with specialist expertise in high profile, complex and sensitive crime and regulatory investigations. The firm acts for a range of companies, professional firms and private individuals, both in the UK and abroad. The partners, all leaders in their fields, are supported by a dedicated team of associates and support staff. The firm is growing and we are seeking a new Office Administrator.
The role
To provide office administrative support services to the firm, reporting to the Office Manager. Working within the administration team, the individual will be responsible for the presentation of the meeting spaces, maintaining office supplies, and supporting the Office Manager and Senior Administrator in the effective running of the office. Corker Binning are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and dependable team player.
Key responsibilities
The role holder will be responsible for the following duties and any others that come up in the daily running of the firm:
- Ensuring meeting spaces are fully stocked and prepared for meetings on different floors of the building, especially with external clients, including setup of water, coffee & tea, heating / cooling, and video equipment
- Welcoming visitors to the meeting spaces
- Maintaining stock of the kitchen supplies, including online ordering
- Maintaining stock of stationery
- Collecting the firm’s post and DX box regularly
- Arranging couriers and taxis
- Assisting fee earners with secure file sharing
- Organising team lunches and birthdays (in the office)
- Receiving phone calls and welcoming visitors to the meeting room
- Assisting the Senior Administrator in maintaining the database of contacts
- Managing the firm’s central diary, including allocating meeting rooms and arranging Zoom meetings
- Assisting with new joiners and leavers, arranging keys, lockers, photos, contact details
Location
The office is at 1 Ely Place EC1N 6RY and the role is office-based.
Preferred
Experience working in an office environment.
Salary
Between £30,000 and £35,000 annually, depending on experience.
