Sales Engineer

We are working with a fantastic family-owned Manufacturer in the heart of Rossendale that have seen exceptional growth in the last 5 years, Designing, Manufacturing & Selling Special Purpose Machinery to the FMCG industry. We have an excellent opportunity to join their team as a Sales Engineer and boost your career! This position is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in Sales Engineering. Or perhaps you come from an Engineering background and have the drive and skills needed within Business Development. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a passion for customer service, and enjoys problem-solving, this role will suit you perfectly. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with different departments. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct site visits to gather accurate information for preparing quotations.Create detailed and cost-effective quotations promptly, ensuring accuracy.Follow up on quotations and maintain communication through meetings, emails, and phone calls.Manage queries and client relationships throughout live projects, attending meetings as necessary.Collaborate with the project team and other departments, assisting when required.Visit customers and prospects at least once a week, with some EU travel throughout the year. In return you’ll receive a salary up to £60k, 25 days holidays + Bank holidays, which increase with tenure, an excellent commission scheme (OTE £100k+), all for a 34 hours a week!
